As the University of Prince Edward Island has achieved a very high vaccination rate, the Mandatory Vaccination Policy has been recinded as of April 30, 2022. As the pandemic has not been officially declared over and there are ongoing infections with COVID-19 the University is continuing to require masks and other layers of protection against COVID-19 such as vaccination/boosters, good hand and respiratory hygiene, physical distancing and staying home when you are ill. If you are not fully vaccinated please contact the Registered Nurse at the UPEI Health & Wellness Centre or visit a Health PEI clinic or visit a pharmacy for a vaccine/booster.
